Yesterday I had my first real experience in concert promotion and production. It was pretty cool. A group of 9 of us from my Music Business class were responsible for booking a band at Nuci's Space then promoting it and helping take care of a lot of the behind the scenes stuff. I've always wanted to work in music, so this was a great opporunity for me. Thank you to everyone who came out and to Blue Flashing Light and Allison Weiss for playing for us for free and also to Nuci's Space for having the concert and all that it does.

Balloons, flashing rings, and glow sticks should be part of every concert from now on. I expect them at the next SNL...
